We don't usually showcase the adult events in our family in this blog, but since I'm the author, I decided to bend the rules this time. I just celebrated my 40th birthday. John said I could do anything I wanted so with my never-ending desire to explore places I've never been I decided to check the Bahamas off my list. We took a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. We spent a relaxing day on the island of Coco Cay and then spent a day at Nassau, visiting the tropical resort Atlantis and their amazing aquarium. We had a wonderful time. We left the girls home where they, too, had a wonderful time with grandma, grandpa and aunt Debbie.

How fun. So jealous that you got away for a trip without the kids. Jer and I have a trip planned for next month. I can hardly wait. The girls look darling.
Looks like you had a great time on the cruise. The children are beautiful and you look very happy. I miss you and take care of yourself.
